    I was wondering if anyone has successfully opened a 650 and “fixed” the P key?

    Thanks.

    why would you do this instead of just getting ht e Treo replaired under warranty?
    Pilot 5K->Palm IIIc->Tungsten T/T2->Treo 650/680 -> Pre+ (1.4.5 & Uberkernel)

    Yes, the keyboards Sprint stores use to repair do fix the mushy P key. Mine now clicks like all the other keys.

    If you open it to repair it, doesnt that void the warranty (and then if you have insurance, your only option would be to have lockline take care of it while you pay the deductible?

    I have a slightly mushy W key as well. But both keys work. I'm thinking they'll both hold up.

    No mushy P or W here. (Sprint 650) (You made me go test though . . .. .)

    I would have to agree -- if it's not working -- get it replaced under warranty.

    Cheers, Perry.
