My stock 650, branded by Cingular, is running version 1.05. I see that some are using other versions with Cingular (ie. 1.14,1.15, 1.21,1.23...) Where is everyone getting these from, and what if anything should I consider using that is not in Beta. Thanks

I have the same exact question, but no one has answered it yet.

If i understand correctly everything mentioned above, 1.15 - 1.21 - 1.23, are all Beta firmware upgrades at this point. When the Cingular official upgrade comes out it will be listed on the P1 web site. You can use the Beta programs if you wish on your locked Cingular 650, but it's at your own risk.

I just got an Unlocked Cingular version - I've already had a number of resets before I even put any new software on. I'm a bit confused as to whether these ROM updates can be used on an unlocked Treo, so I guess I'll have to wait. Is there a thread that I'm missing on this issue?

    Thanks.

I'm not sure if this is a regonal thing, but here in Mississippi there was a problem, the local stores where putting the wrong sim card in the treo causing serious reset problems. check to ensure yours is 64k smartchip should be orange. This post it for Cingular customers only.
