When I upgraded to the T650 from the T600, I instantly realized that they changed the default calendar program. I hate it!...well i don't HATE it, but its no where near as good as the calendar program in the 600. The 600 allowed you to create "floating events," which were more-or-less todo items that that were displayed on the "DAY" view and would carry on to the next day if they were not checked off.

This was just one of the many tools/options in the program that made it superior, in my opinion, to the new program on the 650.

For all of you Rom Pirates out there...is there a way to SAFELY update the Rom on the 650 to change the calendar program???

You could just buy DateBk5, which the 600's calendar app is based on.

I thought it was based on Dbk 3? Does Dbk 5 use the standard datebook database?

Well, it's all evolution. I think it's technically DateBk+. But the floating events is a stallwart in DateBk, so I see that as the easiest solution to your problems.
