    No problems withinstalling on PowerBook with SuperDrive, but I would also like to install on a G3 iMac with a CD-RW. Any work arounds for this???

    If your iMac has firewire, use Target Disk Mode

    It does and I have used Target Disk Mode before, but not to install the OS. Can you give me a little more (steps) please.

    I got it. I successfully installed Tiger 10.4 on a iMac 256MB/500Mhz CD-RW via Target Disk Mode (firewire)
