    I'm so sick of resetting my prefs after a hard reset and the required deletion of the backup pref folder by docs to go reinstall only to find that it freezes my Treo 650 AGAIN.
    I'm looking for a very simple doc reader that would be an alternative....

    You might want to check out the PalmFiction reader, at palmfiction.sourceforge.net.
    It claims to read Word documents as well as many other formats.

    I am looking to read/edit excel files... anyone have a suggestion besides documents to go?
