    Hey there people

As the 15% off coupon is expiring today, and now I know I am not getting a Treo headset free (dang you mobileburn LOL) I went through and purchased the treo wireless headset.

There were three methods to go through to get it.
    1. 15% coupon through http://web.palmone.com
    2. 20% registration coupon through http://www.palmone.com
    3. Treocentral store, which has some dang amazing prices (from what I've seen)
Now after crunching the numbers and such I have come across the following conclusion

    1. 15% coupon: 92.69USD or 115.63CAD (USD converted to CAD through xe.com) (TAX INCLUDED)
    2. 20% coupon: 107.45USD or 133.40CAD (CAD converted to USD through xe.com) (TAX INCLUDED)
    3. Treocentral: 96.90USD or 120.42CAD (USD converted to CAD through xe.com) (PLUS TAX)
Well the numbers say it all. Shipping address was an Ontario address, so prices may vary of course (slightly)

And just one thing, this is in no way a burn to treocentral at all..they offer a vast and excellent product selection, and I will be purchasing items through them shortly for sure

    Cheers

You can also try other sites like buy.com (which had it for about US$51). I did use the 15% off coupon to grab a PalmOne keyboard, however.

Ingram Micro has the best price in Canada I've found. I picked up the TREO headset (not the Jabra bt250 but the new one that's out of stock here for $69.95 U.S.).

I think I paid about $85 Canadian all in (taxes-paid only GST, and $10 service charge). Much better deal than you'll find anywhere.

In fact I sold my used Jabra bt250 that did not work properly with the Treo on Ebay and it virtually paid for the new one.

To buy from Ingram you need to be registered with them as a company. A buddy of mine is so I get stuff through him.

I bought my first Palm from them, a Palm IIIe. At the time it retailed for about $220. I got it from Ingram for $125+tax.

But you need an account to even do a search...

I used my 15% coupon for the Treo Bluetooth Headset yesterday too. About $72 USD with shipping - right too the door of Canada (Job right Downtown Detroit - across from Windsor Ontario Canada). It's processing, 3-9 Days to I get it.

Hey, I bought the Treo Headset from them as well, it's great. I had real problems with volume on the handset especially in traffic. I also drive a stick shift, so it was impossible to talk and drive. Of course, we all look like geeks with that thing on

One question, when I set up the pairing, it asked for a Passkey, and gave a default, is there a way to change that and how?
