When do I find time to read all this? Here, there, and ...

... I'm frequently of the opinion that the Visor (Deluxe, in my case) should be renamed My Li'l Toilet Buddy.

You can never be too careful when it comes to kiss-planting locales; especially with all the "potty" talk around here!

Thanks, RicePilaf! I was looking for some mention of a mobile edition of The Onion on their site just the other day, but I must have missed it.

Another good one is the SciFi Channel's channel... the SciFi news & "Today in SciFi History" are good, and for those of you who like to watch endless reruns of "Dark Shadows", "The Outer Limits", and "Sliders" they include their daily TV schedule.

You guys have stayed away from this one.... but a close friend of mine admitted to enjoying SinPalm.

Now I on the other hand wouldn't know what she was talking about.

i won't list all my favourites since many have already been listed here a couple of times, but a channel that i've consistantly enjoyed and when finished reading thought 'What a great channel!' has got to be the BusinessThinkers.com channel. The name is a little misleading, but i think this channel is great. It brings up some interesting things in marketing, business strategy, humour, and they cover a 'neat' book every update (which has gone from once a week to 2 or 3 times a week now!)

Another worth looking at is http://www.geek.com/pdageek/ if you go to their site you'll find the link to their mobile page (you'll have to set up the custom page yourself).
wow, it's been awhile.....things have REALLY changed...why is my Visor Edge still in my hand? Will a Treo fit better?

But it's missing "What Do you think?", which has always been my favorite part of the Onion.

    Channel Limits Exceeded
By making this change, you will exceed the maximum allowed total channel size. Please remove one or more of your existing channels, or reduce the max size of one or more channels, to make room.
Anybody gotten this? I'm pissed... why would they limit the number of channels you can add?
I've got a BVD with a Stowaway keyboard
    Visors kick A$$!!!!!!

They limit the number of channels you can add to 2MB so that they can ensure all thier customers reasonable download (sync) times. To combat this limit, go into 'edit channels' and see how much memory a specific channel is actually using...then edit it and see what the Max size is set to. You'll notice that many channels are set to 200% or 250% greater (sometime much more) than they actually need. Set the Max size to a smaller amount (i usually leave about 5 or 10kb buffer) and that will allow you to load more channels before your 2MB limit is reached. (the 2MB is based on Max Channel Size values)

Has anybody successfully set up Jeff Harrow's "Rapidly Changing Face of Computing" (http://www.compaq.com/rcfoc) as a custom channel?

He provides a link (http://www.compaq.com/rcfoc/current_rcfoc.html) for the current edition, but I always get a "Size Limit Exceeded" error. This doesn't make sense to me...

The HTML text for the current edition is ~60k. My custom channel is set up to receive up to 200k, link depth 0, no images, don't follow links.

What am I doing wrong for this custom channel?

If you watch any television (and who doesn't) you have got to try TeeVee which is a frequently histerical daily commentary on whatever may be asinine on the tube.
