I was looking at a extended battery (1800 mAh) for around $28 bucks shipped. Am I getting a good price? Or is this the same as the original?

There are some devices, like my phone that I use non- OEM batteries. Once I get my treo, I doubt if I would get one though, unless highly recommended by members of this (or other) boards. In some devices, if you use a non- oem battery and something goes wrong (battery blows) you blow your warranty. Chances of that happening, slim to none, maybe.

The OEM is 1800 or so. All the scam artists are all over selling "extended" batteries that are the same -- for $20-$30.

A few sites claim to have extended batteries but they are really expensive and not sure they are in stock yet.
