I did a search and two threads came up about this but neither offered any solutions. Has anyone ever got a 732A error when sending a SMS? All of a sudden it started giving me this message everytime I send a text message. It has been working all day and just started doing it; the only program I installed since was profiles, which has have taken off but still get this message.

Anyone know how to solve this?

I've not gotten that error message, but I get other error messages.

I'm on an unlocked Treo 650 with T-Mobile service, and I usually get a weird error message back whenever I try to send a text or MMS message; most incoming SMS and MMS messages show up this way, too: ie,

    From: 3224
    ) "application/vnd.wap.mms-message

Not to hijack your thread with my own question, but does anyone have any ideas? Perhaps an answer here could help you, too....

    Thanks!

So, the 732A error message went away...could it be a network error on Sprint's behalf? I can send SMS again.

Matthew23, where are you located? I am in Nassau County, New York and I experienced the same errors that day. Must have been a Sprint problem, not a Treo problem.

I am having the same issue - I despise Sprint with the intensity of 1,000 Earth Suns. How can they screw something as simple as a Text message up? There is no rhyme or reason to it working or not working, the issue occurs extremely erratically.

Sometimes sending the same message a second time works. Sometimes you just have to give up because itís not going to work whatever you do. Itís strange, I sometimes see the problem sending to one mobile device but not another.

Seems to happen every couple days here in Chicago... it usually goes thru the second try with no problem though. Something I've learned to live with.

This error allows someone to receive all your 1st text messages than obviously the 2nd one will go through so that they can receive your first ones.

Sprint is well aware of this going on although they will not fully confess to it. I have spent the last year dealing with Sprint and the Treo 650. (Not fun)
The consumer bears the burden of proof and it is very frustrating.

First of all, there has been fraudulent activity on my phone. It was cloned by someone in Mexico who ran up over $1,000 in roaming charges. I first became aware of the problem when my phone was de-activated by Sprint Tuesday, October 24th for exceeding my spending limit. I called the customer service department and was told that I had excessive roaming charges from Mexico. I informed the customer service representative that I had not been to Mexico and there must be fraud on the account.
