Does anyone know of a free weather app for the 650 where the forecasts can be updated when synching to a computer via a cable? I do not want a weather app that updates wirelessly, but rather one that I can update when I am synching to my email/calendar via cable.

You can use the "Accuweather.com Channel" on AvantGo, it can update wireless or wired on every hotsync.

TreoAlarm will pull the weather for you. Works pretty good and has alarms.

You might want to look at Infuzer if you're looking for something to sync with your calendar.

It works with Outlook, and am pretty sure Palm Desktop as well.

Saw this one on mytreo.net. haven't tried it, but it looks decent and is freeware. I use WeatherMan, which is great, but you have to pay for the software. No recurring fees though.

Register at http://www.treoalarm.com/register.html. Right now they have a promotion. You get the app for $13 (normally $18.50) plus a bonus Remote Lock app. The Remote Lock app basically activates the built-in security lock when you send the treo a special sms (just in case you lose your treo). Frankly, I wouldn't pay $18, but $13 for both i think is ok. Especially since mSafe (Remote Lock alternative) is $17 by itself.
