The Demo Avi is corrupt. I hope they have better luck with the software.

Works fine here. The video is a bit jumpy, but that might just be the operator. The baby is cute. Looks almost like a snapper-fish bib though ;-)

the video was created very fast. it all depends on the operator like you said. not the quality is alot better than the Treo camcorder but say doesnt not sync You will be able to use Live! video as video callerID's on the T650 for Lightwav just like on the T600.

the only bug is your browser. It is only a avi movie. If you cant play it then you should get a media plugin.

Didn't work for me either. AVI's play on every other site I go to. I have a media plugin.

Are we really surprised Toysoft couldn't even post an avi that everyone could get to work?

    I'm not.

I was thinkin the same thing....hehe

I am a registered purchaser (can't say user as it never worked for me) of Live!, will this be a free upgrade? Oh, wait, he won't answer, they never do. They only post as ad-substitutes...

Gosh, I am so hatin on Toysoft....

Perhaps you should recommend one smiley88..I just tried it on both FireFox and IE and the video doesnt play on EITHER when launched in the Winamp which I use all the time to play .avi files

Obviously you didnt encode it right if it doesnt play on 2 different browsers for me and as well doesnt play for other people.

**Either way sounds like a neat idea *but* have you fixed the other bug's yet with Lighwav I have asked you about probably 10 times now and you have ignored every question when I do ask? No sense adding new features on top of old bugs you have never confirmed you have fixed.

Great, I am so glad you released this with the same name as the other one, and reversioned it to 1.0. Very nice to your paid customers to treat them this way, and no response to my question about wether or not it was a free upgrade....

I am thorougly disgusted with your continued disregard for your current customers and appalled by your complete disregard for customer service...

A truly horrible company and just plain bad software. Everyone should avoid thier products like the plague.

Wow. This program is useless. You have to tell it how fast to play it back and how fast to record it and the numbers don't really represent anything, so no matter how hard I tried I couldn't get the audio to sync up with the video.

The reason the exported AVI files wouldn't play is because it is motion JPEG. I got it to play in QuickTime, but your results may vary. Doesn't really matter because I can't imagine anyone using this program over the built in one (yes, it's that bad).

Yet again smilley88 totally *IGNORE'S* any questions about bug's in his product...smiley if you think I'll ever just up and dissapear and quit posting right after you join every thread trying to make sales your so wrong, you have repeatedly ignored my questions as well as others over and over and I'd have to say you have the worst customer service I have ever seen and all you care is about selling product and announcing it as you please, personally with your poor support I think Treocentral Moderators should STOP you from blatantly advertising your buggy products and hijacking threads like you always do the whole time avoiding questions with bugs in your programs!

Whats so hard about answering about the bug's smiley88? Continuing to avoid the issues will only make things worse and I'll be sure everytime I see anybody post in this forum that I refer them to all the threads that you totally ignore questions directed at the bug's in your products.

And just like mattyparanoid says "A truly horrible company and just plain bad software. Everyone should avoid thier products like the plague."

    Enough said...for now

Can anybody explain why anyone would use Live! rather than the built-in application on the Treo? Granted, it seems to store in an AVI format rather than a 3g2 format, but 3g2 is a standard for cell phones, it uses Mpeg4, and it plays flawlessly with Quicktime. I can't see any benefits to Live!, other than the fact that you can appearantly zoom while you record (although this may be a feature of the Treo Camera as well, I have never tried).

I also stopped using anything by toysoft. They seem greedy. Back in the day Lightwav would do many things in one. Now they have divided it into 3 or 4 apps so you have to pay more money to get functionality of the one they used to sell. Kool Alarms, Mp3 Ringer & Lightwav all used to be one program!! And now Live!. It is pointless. How much different or better is it than the native camcorder app. I'm all for someone trying to make money. After all it is a business & that's what it's all about. I just don't think Toysoft implements certain things that is condusive to haining new customers or making current ones happy. I think that's what I mean. I digress.

I downloaded the file and opened it in BSPlayer. It ran but warned "file is corrupt, seeking will be slow"
    Palm M100 --> GSM Treo 600 --> GSM Treo 650 --> GSM Treo 680

Yeah. How about making a program that really manipulates the camera. Like controlling exposure...

Ditto here. Toysoft releases products most developers call "alpha". They are often unstable and at best, wrought with bugs.

Their support is seriously lacking and usually non-existent.

Smiley only appears when there is a new product or new version to shill. When there are problems or bugs, he disappears.
