    Shimon,

I'm using TakephONE 6.5, build 0.38 (BTW, the copyight on the "about" screen says "2001") on a Cingular Treo 650.

Since I'd already setup a number of speed dials in the built-in phone application before starting to use TakephONEI'm using those in TakephONE, but if there was a way to convert them over I probably would switch to using TakephONE's speed dials. Is there some way to do this without having to reenter all the speed dials?

Also, I added a speed dial in the built-in phone application to bring up a particular web page. If I use the built-in application the web page opens in my default browser, which is Xiino, but if I use TakephONE it opens in the built-in "Web" application. Can TakephONE honor the default browaser setting?

Another question -- I usually leave TakephONE active on the speed dial screen, but if I get an alert and hold down the 5-way center button to view the alert I end up dialing my first speed dial. Is there any other way (other than clicking on the tiny "snowflake") to get to the alert manager from withn TakephONE.

    Thanks for a great program,

    /Andy

In prefereces of TP, go to PalmOne treoand check the box "use built in....."

preferences, applications, by internet make sure it says Xiino

I'll leave this one for Shimon to answer...

Mahootzki, unless I missed something, your suggestion 'In prefereces of TP, go to PalmOne treoand check the box "use built in....." ' switches *between* two sets of speed dials, but doesn't *convert* the built-in spped dials to TakephONE speed dials.

As to the web browser, I guess I wasn't clear -- I've already set the preference. The built-in phone app is honoring it, but TakephONE isn't.

Shimon, please look over my first two questions again.

Todah rabah, (just not the same when transliterated!)

    Hi,

You should set it in TAKEphONE's "Applications" preferences - it's seperate...

OK, I feel stupid about that, but... TakephONE isn't giving me the option of selecting Xiino for "Internet" even though I can select it as my default browser on the Treo's Preferences.

    Hi,

Youre not stupid. Xiino is not supported.

    Well - WAS not supported...

Just added Xiino support to TAKEphONE and 2day.
If you like - I can send the new version to you, or wait until I will post it at the beta page: www.shsh.com/beta

Thanks for pointing this out !

    Thanks, Shimon...

I'd like to try the new version. I can wait, but I certainly wouldn't mind if you send it to me: arfunk -at- arfunk.com.

    Thanks!

(And is there a way to to convert my phone app speed dials into TakephONE speed dials -- not switch between them, convert them?)
