Why not get the Ultra II for $30 or $35 extra? At least you will not always be wondering if your Treo is not performing as fast as it can.

Psychologicaly speaking it is worth the extra $

    Who's with me?

Believe me the 'Ultra', does make a difference. The extra performance that the ULtra has really does make a difference in real usage.

I have the 2gb Ultra II from Sandisk. It is muuch faster, videos play smoothly, applications open quickly and I can store many, many music files! It's like having two Ipod shuffles in my Treo! Well worth the cash.

Dell doesn't carry the 2 gb ultra II. In fact, it's hard to find it in stock anywhere for under around $200.

real world experience for the half day I used it. the one video I viewed seemed to get out of sync more often and more noticible. In the beginning, mp3 seem to skip too, but hasnt really happened since.

i'll use it for a week and it either gets returned or moved to the camara.

I received a 2GB Sandisk (non Ultra) card from dell....had it a week and it is performing fine for me. PTunes has no problem at all. Doc to go retreives and stores documents very nicely.

I just received the sandisk ultraII 2 Gig I ordered months ago.

Works fine in the 650, but my zd7000 laptop just hangs forever trying to access it. The same laptop reads a 512M UltraII and a 1G UltraII and a Lexar 1G and a bunch of other smaller cards of various makes with no problem.

Anyone else noticed any compatibility problems with the 2G UltraII ?

So...did it get any better or did it get returned? I just ordered the same thing from Dell since I couldn't stand waiting for the ultra to be in stock (and at less than $180), but I'm hoping I didn't do the wrong thing since I want to use it in part for watching videos on the plane, etc.

Update: As of today I see they now say my card won't be shipped until estimated 5/25/05 (what the...)!

Well, it isn't perfect and it makes me crazy, but I still do love my Treo!
