I have the BT650 and it sucks.

In the opinion of the forum members, what BT headset gives the best combination sound quality, battery life and price?

    Thanks in advance.

There are several threads on this subject, try a search. The long and short of it is it's personal preference, what I like you may not and what you like I may not.

The most commonly liked are; the New TREO Wireless, HBH 660 (which has a new model the 662) or the Scala 500.

I'll 2nd the 1st reponse. There's extensive commentary on the subject already posted, at elast one with the exact thread title. I got 75 hits when searching on "Thread Titles Only"

In summary, the leading contenders are:

Treo Branded BT Headset from PlamOne
Sony HBH-662 (not yet shipping but the new replacement for the 660)
Scala 500 (Some don't like but many do)

I have stated in other threads that I really do not think there is a "best" BT headset. I think that is determined by the environment of the individual user. I have tried 6 different sets to date. Right now I am using the BT250 and the Scala 500. I have two because one works good at home and the other works good at my office. Neither works good in both places. And, from what I have read here, there is no consistency in any headset.

I have not tried the new Treo branded set. I am thinking about it.

Has anyone used the Bluetooth® Wireless Headset for Treo 650 or Treo 650 Wireless Headset available from the palmOne store? If so which is better?

    The new $79 "Treo" one

is better than the old $99 "that works on the Treo" one.

Thanks, I'll check out the Treo branded $79 one. I assume that it works automatically on both calling and receiving calls without a hitch. I am also assuming that BTMute is not required as well. Are any of these assumptions true?

Does the new "Treo" branded one have an eyeglass clip? I usually wear my eyeglasses. Very rare is the day I actually get up early enough to bother with contacts. If it doesn't have an eyeglass clip, how well does it fit over the ear in conjunction with glasses?

I wear sunglasses all day everyday and it fits fine for me. I use the Maui Jim sports- they have a small titanium wire frame.
