here's a ton: (with some duplication above - i actually keep this as a memo on my Treo and beam it over to folks all the time, to get them to see that you CAN indeed use the Treo as a relatively compelling surfing experience)

Probably the most useful one is the Palm version of Google:
    http://www.google.com/palm

Here are some aggregators, that have a bunch of other mobile sites linked with them - the subsites are all optimized for speed and access via a mobile device. The key is to look around in these sites, find what's relevant to you, and then bookmark those individual sites in your Treo.

(from many of these, you can downwload ringtones and screensavers directly to your device)

Then there are cool 3rd party proxies like skweezer that make viewing non-mobile sites alot easier on the Treo:

    http://www.skweezer.net/

Here's the list of mobile-specific aggregator sites:
    http://pdaportal.com/

    http://www.treobits.com/

    http://treo1.com/

    http://www.palmcut.com/

    http://www.eboogie.com/

    http://newkreation.com/mobilelinks.htm

    http://www.evmo.com/Kevmo.aspx

    http://www.mazingo.net/mobile/

    http://www.otweb.com/pda.html

    http://www.cantoni.org/palm/links.html

    http://home.comcast.net/~plinkit/

    http://www.unclemarty.com/bookmarks.html

    http://www.pawgo.com/

    http://www.tavisjohn.com/treo600/

    http://toptreo.com/

    http://www.pdasupport.com/PDAfriendly.htm

    http://www.gammon.com/ringtones/

A really cool search engine is wapswap which will show you pda formatted sites first in its search results:

    http://www.wapswap.com/

Basically, once you get a link to one aggregator site, then you eventually get links to all of them.

Cnet actually lists this site for mobile news, but when you click on it,

"The page you've requested cannot be found."

Anyone know of a good wap/low bandwidth site for kids? I often use my Treo to keep my kids entertained when we're stuck waiting around for something.

I too am confused, but I have managed to find and bookmark the page in Blazer. There is something wacky going on. When I type the link in, I get your error message. When I load the main news.com page, navigate to 'News.com mobile' at the bottom of the page, then to 'News.com To Go', I end up at the same URL (news.com.com/2162-12_3-0.html) and the pages load correctly. I created a bookmark and it works. I don't know why it doesn't work when I manually enter the bookmark (yes I checked my spelling of the URL).

This is relatively new. Google now gives you the option to search for mobile sites. Here's the link:

I really like this site. It's my home page on my Treo since the Infospace crapped out on Cingular. Thanks.

great topic! Im off to thailand in a few days on holiday on Eva air and cant seem to find any wap site that has them down for online schedules. I thought expedia used to do all this kind of stuff but it seems most of these sites have dissappeared and u have to go to the individual airline website. so this begs the question - whats the best wap site for obscure airline live schedules?? Trip.com isnt bad but doesnt do enough airlines... Im in the UK so wil probably have a different preference than you american folks...!

Sweet! Hey do you have any idea if the games can be used on a different Treo browser?
