I mentioned this in another thread recently, but it deserves its own for matters of consistency.

Is it possible to tell the phone to not dim the touchscreen while Im on a call? It goes inactive after a minute or so of phone use and must be touched to reactivate it, thus requiring two taps to end the call using the screen.

Ive RTFM and scoured Preferences without success; is this a configurable option?

This isn't a direct answer to your question, but can't you reactivate the screen while you're on your call by pressing the green phone button?

Yes, and even tapping the screen while it's dimmed will reactivate it. What Im searching for is a way to tell it not to dim at all, so when the call is over I can press the touchscreen's 'Hang Up All' button. At the moment I have to tap the screen to reactivate it and then tap the hang up button (two taps).

I could just use the red phone button, but your eyes tend to be drawn toward the largeness and brightness of the touchscreen more easily than the hard buttons.
