I love the Timbuk2 case for the iPod. Unlike many leather cases, it does not smell of leather, it does not have those leather oils that go onto my hand or the keyboard or the screen, and because it is soft and padded, it does not press onto the delicate keys.

It also has a more relaxed, camera look instead of that gun at our side look.

    Anybody making ballistic nylon cases?

    Maybe something like this?

"There has always been a tension in conservatism between those who favor more liberty and those who want more morality. But what's indisputable is that Bush's 'compassionate conservatism' is a move toward the latter - the use of the government to impose and subsidize certain morals over others. He is fusing big government liberalism with religious right moralism. It's the nanny-state with more cash." -- www.AndrewSullivan.com

If you take a Bianchi military magazine holder for .45 mags and remove the insert, the Treo fits pretty well.

I just saw this, and thought I should post it here instead of starting anew....

I'm a big Timbuk2 fan, and was wondering if anybody has any experience with this. I have a skin in mine and am wondering if it would fit inside of this?

Like I said, Timbuk2 makes quality products, so I'm not concerned on how well made it is, just how "roomy"

You might look at Maxpedition. I have one of their latop bags and it's tough as nails.

I bought a black nylon camera case for $0.94 at Walmart. Velcro closure and plenty of room for a pen/stylus and a Treo 650 with skin case. The case attaches to the belt with a nylon loop and when I am in a tight seat I take the phone out and the case folds flat.

Works great and at $1 a pop they can wear out in 6 months and be easily replaced. I have had mine for 2 months with no sign of wear.
