    It's only a disease if you keep them

    I have owned the:

    Siemens Shark, a.k.a Jabra BT300
    Jabra 250 Free Speak
    Motorola HS810
    Motorola HS850
    Nextlink AX

    Coming today: New Treo BT and will sell my 3 week old HS850

    My rule is only one at a time, sell the oldish one on eBay and you basically end up paying about $10-$20 to upgrade to the latest headset after 6-9 months of use. I look at it as a $1-$3 a month "rental feel"
    Siemens S46 -> Siemens S56 -> Motorola MPx200 -> Moto v600 -> Audiovox SMT5600 -> Treo 650 -> Motorola Q (14 days) -> Treo 650 -> Treo 700w -> Treo 750

    I am diseased then.... How did you like the Nextlink AX? That was one I was curious about. Was not sure about the stem you have to trim to fit in your ear. Was it comfortable?

    The AX is an excellent headset. It fits in the ear very very well. It's so light and the little stem is designed so well that you really could wear it all day and not feel it in there. My problem with it was that its a little cheap feeling and if you drop it you might break it. I also found the volume issue on the Treo650 to be a problem, mainly in the car. But it worked well with my preview phone, and Audiovox SMT5600 windoze smartphone.

    I own one. Moto820. I'm not going to keep buying headsets because of the Treos volume flaw. Why should I adapt? Why can't they fix it instead??

    I'm at 4...

    Motorola 820, Generic, Cardo Scala 500, Sony HBH-660...

    So for now the Scala 550 is my main BT headset, HBH 660 is my backup BT headset!

    Bad enough to have 4, I am now contemplating getting the Plantronics M3000 cause I hear the volume is good. One gripe I have with the Sony the volume STINKS! ANd I refuse to use an eargel all the time cause they hurt.

    Sprint PCS user since 1999

    Palm IIIC -> Palm M100 -> Treo 300 -> Treo 600 -> Treo 650 -> Treo 700P -> Treo 755P
    Do I count as a Palm addict if I still have my original Palm IIIC?

    The M3000 is nice, but I findit to be a bit bulky, and it does press against my ear quite a bit, actually to the point of pain. I've bent the ear loop a bit so there is less tension on the ear loop so it isnt as hard on my ear. Ido have to say, I am disapointed with my disapointment with the HBH660. Ear gels are not for me either, and no last number redial. I really wanted the 660 to be it for me, but isnt.

    Letís see, all the ones I own are because, I WANT THE BEST, I just cannot seem to settle.

    I have owned:

    HBH-35 and 65
    Scala - gave it away
    Moto 810 and another one (brought them back)
    Jabra 200 (yuck)

    I presently own:

    HBH-60 (never got rid of it)
    HBH-660
    Logitech Mobile Freedom
    and now Treo

    I have to say, the 660 is still my #1 - the Jabra ear jell works well and doesnít hurt. But I am giving the Treo the Ďol college try! The Logiteck works very well also. I am getting some crackling with the Treo so I donít know on it yet.
