I've been using TakePhone for the past 3 weeks without a single problem, but today I enabled bluetooth on my phone (I got my HBH-660 headset) and TakePhone caused it to reset every 10-15 minutes. The resets are totally random. Sometimes I may try to awake the phone while the screen is off and then it will reset. Other times I may be in a totally different app and it will reset. I removed TakePhone and now it's been working fine. Any ideas?

Not sure but I'm sure Shimon will chime in shortly! I have had no issues with TakePhone and the HBH-660. I do randomly get a reset here and there but when I do, I'm not even doing anything or touching the phone. I think when the crash occurs and the last app that was active was TakePhone it blames the crash on Takephone but I really don't think takephone is the culprit.

Yea... but my phone has been rock solid for the last 3 weeks since I've had it. This has been the first time it started crashing and I haven't installed anything in over a week.

What sim are you using? My phone had been rock solid for over 4 weeks, then all of a sudden it starting acting haywire. I knew of the 64K Gem sim issue but it did not exibit any problems until all of a sudden. I took my phone to get the sim card changed and now no more problems...might be the case but might be something else..just something to consider if you havent already...

I'm using the 64K Axalto. When my phone arrived via FedEx the first thing I did was drive to my nearest Cingular store to exchange my SIM. I didn't even use the phone with the GemPlus SIM

    Hi,

    Sorry about those resets.

What version of TAKEphONE are you using ?
Did those resets stop after you removed TAKEphONE ?

I was using the latest version of TakePhone from your website.

The resets have stopped. I didn't remove TakePhone from my phone... but I am now using the standard dialer for now.

    Hi,

So - what did you change to make the resets stop ?
Was it any setting inside TAKEphONE ?

I changed the takephone setting from making TakePhone take over the phone hard button and I also changed the setting to return to the phone app after ending a call (I used to have it always return to TakePhone). After doing those two TakePhone never runs on my phone unless I open it from ZLauncher, and since going back to the default dialer my phone has been trouble free. If you need me to do any tests please let me know... I would love to get TakePhone working again soon.

    Thanks for the offer !

If you will - please email me (contact@shsh.com), and I will be happy to send you some test builds to try and figure this out.
(I do not have a Treo 650 myself, so it's real hard to debug this type of things)
