Anyone have any suggestions how to take as much plastic off the screen in the orignal design without causing unstability.

Just looking for suggestions and/or success stories before I out this marvellous piece of work under the knife

    Fine,
Since no one replied, I went ahead and did the deed.
I think it is passable and worth saving the extra $20 bucks.
I must admit this was no easy task putting my baby under the gun on Day One of its arrival.
Overall a 7 out of 10 on this procedure.

I don't think pics would show a whole lot since the cuts are almost transparent to the naked eye under normal lighting.
I basically left a strip from top edge to the top of screen and removed left and right edges completely and the bottom a little below the bottom screen.

I think the top strip is essential for stability and all of the sides have to go or they will be raised with the pressure.
My edges were a little jagged (Make sure you have SHARP exacto knife unlike me).

Although I lost a little bit of the original aesthetics, it makes my Palm much more usable now due to no screen cover.
