Just got my 650. I'm using it with a vaio VGN A170P (XP-Pro, have not installed SP2) laptop with built-in bluetooth support via a program called Bluespace NE. It detects the 650 and links. But it only shows "File Push" and "vCard" as services, (not the creation of a virtual serial port). So I can push files but not hotsync. I'm OK with not being able to hotsync with the BT. That doesn't seem like such a loss to me. However I would really like to use pdanet with bluetooth.

Does anyone know whether I need to be able to create a virtual port (whatever that is) to get pdanet 650 to work? If so, how can I do it?
I would hate to buy pdanet and then not be able to use it with my vaio.

Thanks it advance for your expertise. This forum is a godsend.

I had the same problem. Follow the instructions from the below link and you should be Bluetooth wireless.

I don't know how to get to that screen on the opening page of that pdanet link. Are you using a vaio? Cause all I can get is this "Bluespace NE" program going? Is that a Windows XP screen that is somewhere on my system? Please help.
