I have the TWH. I use a Proclip holster. My problem is that when I make a phone call or receive one using the TWH and then put the phone back in the holster, if I am not careful, a button (don't know which one) gets pushed and ends the call. Can anyone think of anything? I have Treoguard installed but it doesn't disbale any button during a call nor does it disabe buttons on outgoing calls. I would like to be able to walk along, dial a number, put the phone in the holster and start talking on the TWH. I like the holster so I am looking for a program or fix that will allow me to continue to use the holster. Treoguard has worked for me for a problem I was having when I received a call and the space bar was being pushed by the holster when I took the phone out and it was automatically answering the call. Now I have the space bar disable on incoming calls and it solved that problem. I am looking for a similar fix to my new problem. Anyone know of any programs or fixes to this problem?

You might want to try Treo Butler. It does lots of things, but there is a specific setting to disable the spacebar, enter, and delete keys while on a call. You must have a tight fitting case. www.hobbyistsoftware.com

Thanks for the reply. I will look into it. I was hoping for something that would completely disable the entire phone unless I did something to reenable it. You are right, the case is tight and I think either the pressure is hitting the end call feature on the screen or one of the other buttons as I already have the space bar disabled in Treoguard.

Also, you might want to look at the Krussel S-Wide Horizontic case. I have that one the the fit is perfect. I've yet to have any problems like you mentioned, even without any keys disabled.

I like the look. I think I may get it. Thanks. Is it easy to get the phone in and out quickly?

Very easy compared to other cases I have used. Plus the multidapt system is nice.

    But it doesn't feckin work!

All charged up, hold down the mf button, absolutely nothing happens. Here we go again . . .
Well, www.morecomputers.co.uk came up trumps, I have to say. Delivered a replacement and collected the dead one, all at zero cost to me.

And the replacement works, well it works with my T68i, still waiting for the Treo.

I'm torn between the Palm Headset or the Motorola headset. I have the HS 850 and the one problem with it is that when a call comes in, you dont hear it ring on the headset. The second, and bigger problem, is when you make an outgoing call on the Treo, it doesn't transfer to the headset automatically. You have to push the Motorola button on the headset to make ti connect. Will the Palm model be more compliant? If so, is the sound quality as good? Is the Palm model and OEM of some other brand (such as Plantronics?) to

Well, I received my TWH about a week ago and I am really disappointed in this headset mainly because I can't get it to stay in my ear correctly be it too wobbly or just not being able keep it positioned correctly....I have tried Jabra Ear Gels, Slic Sounds, and the existing bendable hook...no dice...I just don't think my EAR was designed correctly for this headset!!! If anyone wants to buy it for a good price, PM me...otherwise, it goes back or gets put on Ebay...as I said, used for 1 week, so it should be considered NEW...the quest for the perfect bluetooth headset continues!!!!!!

I had the same issue with this headset. I complained a little bit about the Bluespoon AX in another thread, being too quiet, but actually I really like it after a couple days of use. It also fits comfortably in my ear.

The TWH is the best imo, hands down!!! Just received mine today and it automatically pairs, and rings in the headset. I left it in the car and forgot to turn bluetooth off on my phone. I received a call when I was in a noisy pool hall so I went outside. In a few seconds I couldn't hear the caller anymore. I looked at my phone screen and realized that it had automatically paired with my headset that was in the car, with the windows rolled up, and about ten feet away!!! This blows the motorola hs820 out of the water imo. Not to mention it's very small and light-weight, about the same size as Motorola's hs820. It fits my ear better than the motorola.

I found that you have to position it correctly or it wobbles. For me that means having the forward end of the thing point towards the corner of my eye. Using the gels, I wiggle the bugger into my ear, then rotate the ear clip hanger thingie scissor like back around my ear. It fits tight w/o any undue pressure, I can ecen play basketball with the thing on and no wiggling.

I wanted to add my experience with the TWH to this forum. I've heard lot's of great things about it and even comments about being the "best" headset, but from my experience it is not even a good headset.
I ordered it through the Palm Store and even though it was backordered received it fairly quickly.
It paired fine, and worked very quickly like people here have experienced, and it wasn't too bad when I was outdoors. However people on the other end could barely hear me. I thought it was a fluke but I tested it over and over again where I would transfer the call from the headset to the handset and people were saying I was more then twice as loud when I didn't use the Treo headset.
I exchanged it thinking it was defective, and had similar results with the new one. So I ended up returning it and getting a Cardo Scala, which is much better.
I would have also tried the Sony, but 3-5 hour battery life and having to purchase eargels to make it audible is unacceptable.

Headsets I've owned are the Jabra BT200, Plantronics M3000, Motorola HS820, all of which were very disappointing, the absolute worst was the M3000; it was very loud, but completely useless in even the slightest wind, and in environments with background noise.

Could anyone comment on real-world standby time? I am finding that the TWH is shutting off/low power after only 24-48 hours of standby (powered up with blinking light every 3 seconds). If the TWH is in standby but in proximity to my T650, does this increase battery drain (are the devices still 'communicating')? Thanks for any insight.

I'd also be interested in any feedback on this. Mine appeared to switch off after only a few hours, all of that while communicating with my current phone (Treo arriving today at last - woo!). I noticed no low-power tones etc but when I got home I found it was off. I am presently testing it by leaving on permanently, it is now nearing 70 hours with no problem, but it hasn't been communicating with the phone during that time.
