When I hotsync or try to hotsync my Treo650 with my PC, it gets to the VersaMail sync and crashes on my desktop. I'v had this problem ever since I get my Treo, but now its really bugging me. It doesn't always crash, it will some times get through the VersaMail sync.
I took those two screen shots below, I'm running Win XP Media Center, I just have it skined like an Apple.

    The Treo shows Synchronizing: midataidcache
It then pauses for a sec and the computer gives an error in the middle of the VersaMail sync. If I press Ok, it just crashes and takes me to an error report.

    Screen Shot One:

After I press cancel it takes me to the second screen shot.

    Screen Shot Two:

After I click Ok, it closes and wants me to send an error report.

    Thanks Guys,

You can enable debug logging in the VersaMail conduit. Under the users Palm Desktop directory (C:\Program Files\palmone\[USER]) there will be a sync.ini file. Change the VersaMail settings EnableLogging and DebugLogging to 1.

After the next sync, go back to the users VersaMail directory (C:\Program Files\palmone\[USER]\VersaMail) and post the contents of the VersaMail.log file. It will indicate what failed and maybe there is other information as to avoiding this problem.

I tryed what you said to do, I changed the file sync.ini in that directory, but now it just hanges when it tryes to sync that file. It doesn't give me that error that I was getting earlier, but the Treo says still says Synchronizing: midataidcache. I'v tryed deleting that file using fileZ and it keeps coming back .

    Pic of freeze point:

It doesn't get past this point even if I let it sit there.

    Thanks,
