    Hi guys,
I unlocked my cingular gsm treo 650 via the subsidy code and now blazer is broken.

I have been having problems viewing some website, it has been going on for weeks now. any ideas?

The sites i cant view are like:

    http://fantasysports.yahoo.com

    or

    http://www.talkloop.com

can you guys view these sites. I use these sites very often and it has been really bugging me.

I have a locked cingular gsm treo 650 and I can view these sites. Its odd that blazer would stop working like that.

Are you now using the device on a wireless carrier other than what you were using prior to having the phone unlocked? If so, then I'd say you might need to edit either the proxy addresses, or the network connection settings.

But I'm guessing that it's more than likely a data network issue with your local provider. Give it a little time.

I'm using an unlocked Cingular branded 650 as I type this now, and both of the sites you referenced load fine in Blazer for me.

unlocked Cingular GSM doesn't mean you now have the unlocked unbranded GSM...you're still running Cingular software on it with their setting...so it may not work when you're using a non-Cingular SIM card.

I'm using a subsidy unlocked Cingular 650 with a T-Mobile simcard, and my treo had zero problems reading the T-Zones settings off the card. Thankfully, the treo 650 behaves more like a standard cellphone than would a Windows pocketpc, as it is capable of receiving alternative carrier settings.

Again, according to what little information we have, it sounds like a network or third-party app issue.
