    i'm guessing that a gsm 'world phone' can handle both 110 and 220v, but i just wanted to confirm. yes/no? tried searching with no luck. thanks.

    It's the power charger that you need to be concerned with.
    Make sure you get the travel charger kit which will adapt to the different voltage inputs.

    Yes, the charger can handle 100-240 volts, 50/60 Hz. However, it has a North American plug, so you'll probably need a plug adaptor in 220 volt land.
