So... is there a way to set the 650 to turn the phone "on" automatically after a soft reset (ie., crash)? I've had a couple random resets and just realized that it resets with the phone "off". The phone stays off until you turn it on manually. I went for quite a while not realizing my phone wasn't on.

The Kyocera 7135 always turned the phone on after a reset (there was an option under phone prefs). I don't see any such option on the 650...

    Any ideas?

There is also an freeware app called Radio Control. It does what you need as well as control a time where you can switch on and off the radio (I use it during the night to save batteries and also to keep people from calling in the middle of the night).

I installed RadioControl a few days ago and started getting 'white screens' so I uninstalled it. Not 100% sure it was the applications fault - have anyone else had that problem? If not I may try it again with some more testing as I liked what it was intended to do...

I used Radio Control on my T600 without problem. It caused a lot of instability on my T650. I switched to Power Up - it is stable on the 650

If you're looking for something really really simple, try my little app I posted here:

I have been using it on a 650 and it seems very stable.

Hmmm...I don't seem to have any of those problems. I am using 1.1-650 version. Does anyone else have problems with this version?

RadioControl was interfering with some of my other software and causing resets. I noticed that RadioControl forces the radio on immediately after the reset while the Treo would wait until everything else loaded then turn the radio on. Think the Treo searching for a signal while loading other software might be the problem some are experiencing.
