Fot the men that own Treo's I swear by this program:

    http://www.megasoft2000.com/product....oduct=WomenDay

Almost like the Treo trying to give you back a little edge to compensate you for the grief it may be causing you in your marriage.

this a whole new meaning to new Toys...

Try sending each other SMS messages, and maybe play a few BT games while you are at it

Seems to work for me... (just kidding)
    Got to love it... Balinor

We had a code segment that was so short that the TA was convinced it did not work, until we demonstrated it on the 41. We were such nerds...

I also wrote some articles for that HP newsletter -- it was not specific to the 65 as I recall. What was it called, again?
Glad to have jogged your memory!! I think the 41-C came after the 65. The 65 was around in the early/mid 70's. It had 100 lines of code, and each digit you entered took up one line. Then came the HP 67 (in the mid/late 70's). The 41-C was maybe late 70's or early 80's. By the time the 41-C came out I was "done" with this obsession. The newletter I referred to really was just for the 65, certainly initially. It was not sponsored by HP, but written by "someone" who just wanted to help. I remember one particular cookie for the 65: you hit certain keys and it started a countdown timer from 100 that could not be stopped unless you turned it off. I remember I went into some fancy dept store and did this to the sample unit and then complained, with shock in my voice, to the sales women that something really strange was going on with it. Well, she knew right away that I was pulling something.

It's a new toy. It's fun for now, but marriage is good for life . Tell her it will wear off and you'll be running to her arms. Although it might take a few months .

Wow, someone else has this problem too LOL. My wife is so pissed at my 650 right now. She just doesn't understand how long it takes to customize the damn thing. Oh, and getting Nesem didn't help things either.

I have the same problem, my wife thinks of the treo as - "the other woman" calling it trea.
she tells me she wants to break it. I've had the treo 600 since last october - im still hooked on it the way I was when I first laid eyes on it.
it changes your lifestyle, everything is at your fingertips, whether it be typing down an idea, checking breaking news, watching emails, browsing the web or checking your daily agendas, this thing has grabbed me like no other piece of tech has been able to do for such a sustained period of time.
this is hard as hell to do, but I have to just put the damn thing down for a while so that I can focus on my wife when we're on the couch in the evenings. you are not alone - it IS an addiction to be a treo owner!

In anticipation of this problem, I bought the wife her very own treo 650. Of course, all she does is play tetris on her treo.

    Please help
The same thing happened to me, but my wife was very smart. She had one of her teeth painted in blue, and she had her hair done in such a way that her short pony tail pointed upward and to the right side of her head. She became so cute. The only problem was that other men became unusually interested in her. As long as you don't give them her unlock code you won't have to worry about her fooling around on you.

As a Treo 650 addict who is pissing my husband off with my new love, I have a couple things to say to your "good ol' boy" comments.
    1. Your wives do NOT need to "lighten up". (To anyone who says that to a woman...duck and cover!) Women, even independent ones want to feel they are the most important thing to you.
    2. For you boys only "gettin' some" once a week/month? Ever think it's you...not her? (Noooo, of course not!)

In my case, my husband was a game junkie...Playstation 2, Game Boy SP, online spades. I enjoyed the free time. But now I have the ultimate game and he's jealous. My response? Payback's a b****!

Amen! Sounds like somebody REALLY needs to "lighten up" I'm sure the comments were in jest, but evidently they pissed in somebody's cornflakes.

I'm newly married and newly in possesion of my Treo 650 (first smartphone). We waited to take our honeymoon until two months after we were married and she told me that if I took the phone we would get a divorce in Mexico!!!

She is also immensely concerned about the amount of time I spend on TC. I try to tell her at least it's not a porn site
I've heard that polar bear steaks are tough, but maybe if you marinated them in beer they'd turn out all right.

I did. I took her shoe and bag shopping yesterday. The Treo, of course, made the waiting much more tolerable while the wife shopped

Your wife should embrace the concepts of free market forces and competition. If a little phone/PDA is getting attention away from her, she simply needs to compete at a higher level! Free market economy at its best.

    j/k
