I've really enjoyed some of the short stories from www.fictionwise.com. Most stories are not free, but they only cost a dollar or so.

I also like using ISolo to read web pages on my visor. Great tool

    Here is another great site:

    Guttenberg.net

It has a TREMENDOUS amount of books:
    Shakespear, Edgar Rice Borroughs, etc.

They are all older books, so enjoy

    The actual link is: www.gutenberg.net , only 1 t.

I wouldn't recommend this site for newbies, as they are in txt format and will need to be converted somehow.

Definitely my favorite has been the screenplay for THE MATRIX.

Those Wachowski brothers really knew what they were doing.

does anyone know of anywhere to find Arthur Clark books (2001, 2010, 2061, 3001)? They are listed at http://www.macroscope.newmail.ru/books_in_english.htm, but the link to the books is dead. Any other sites have them?
