I would like to automate my status report writing. I keep track of what I do via the DateBk+ "Daily Journal". Anyone know of a way to automate a report of say the last weeks journals on the desktop?

Have you looked at journaler.exe ? It will extract your journal entries into a csv which you can then open in Excel or other spreadsheet and sort/filter by date.
Not sure if this is what you're looking for.

This sounds like what I am looking for. I searched hotbot for it and found it at pimlico's website.

I did not even know that existed. Thanks!

Have you taken a look out our software, DayNotez? It sounds like it might fit your needs if you don't mind using something outside of DateBk. We have some "extra" tools which among other things, allows you to "import" your entries for DateBk, and export on the desktop to "CSV" or "HTML" given a date range. Desktop and Conduit are in the works. Take a look at http://www.natara.com/DayNotez and be sure to go to the "Extras" page.

    Natara Software, Inc.

PS: We would actually love for DateBk and ActionName to be "DayNotez" aware. We have the hooks in the product, but it requires the makers of the above mentioned to add support on their side. Maybe someday if enough people ask<g>!
