Has anyone tried the AOL Mail for Palm Handhelds? AOL indicates

"only devices manufactured by Palm, Inc. are supported. AOL Mail may work on other Palm OS licensed devices, but are not recommended or supported."

I was wondering if anyone has tried it on a Visor?

Haven't tried it, but I'm a member of AOL Beta and they are coming out with AOL for Palm. It will feature mail and instant messaging using the standard AOL phone numbers at no extra cost.

Of course, if you mention this to anyone else I will disavow all knowledge of this posting...

Do you know if you could get or send e-mail with this New AOL mail without a moden using HotSync and a USB cradle? You know something like the AvantGo Channel. If not, do you think you could e-mail AOL Tech requesting this feature..

Yes, AOL Mail works fine for Visors or any PDA using the Palm OS.

In the VisorCentral discussion boards, under "HowTo/Troubleshooting" see
AOL Mail for PDAs, how to http://discussion.visorcentral.com/F...ML/001504.html

    You still need a modem.
