My Treo 650 is Unlocked GSM.

Can I use my T3 or Zodiac with Treo 650 to acccess GPRS?

If so, how should I setup the Connection and Network settings?

    Thanks a lot.

DUN - use dial up networking ... good thing you got the unlocked because its disabled in the Cingular version.

I tried to enable the dial up networking on the Treo 650 and then perform the following setup with no success.

    On my Palm PDA,

I've tried the following settings for "Connection"

    Connect to "Modem"
    Via "Bluetooth"

Do I need to set up an Init String for the connection? I've tried the following,
    AT+CGDCONT=1,"ip","XXX"

(where XXX is my wireless service provider's APN)

    For "Network",

I entered the username, password. I choose the right connection.

For phone number, I entered *99***1#

Now, when I click "Connect". It stops at the dialing dialog with no response.

    Can anyone help?

I used the patched .prc from Shadowmite and I actually find the DUN to be quite stable on Cingular, as long as I connect and discconect the network as needed before using the DUN.

try changing your init string to

    AT+CGDCONT=1,"ip","wap.cingular"
    username: WIXDC001@W5.MYCINGULAR.COM
password: ... does someone know the password? I forgot.

Thanks. But that doesn't help, because my service provider APN is "Sgprs" so I would put "Sgprs" instead of "wap.cingular".

Previously, I am able to use my T3 and my Motoroloa V500 to access the GPRS. I have tried similar configurations on my T3, but with no success with the Treo 650 yet.
