Hi. I was reading posts the other day - long threads about soft resets and the network time setting. My phone also comes on when I don't touch it - I'm assuming this is the soft reset. I'm still playing around with it and haven't loaded my contacts, calendar, etc so I haven't experienced the problems listed on the other threads. Bottom line - should we all be turning the network time function off?

Not necessarily... the 650 (at least the Sprint version) will turn on (wake up) when looking for service, such as when it's out of range or in a poor coverage area. A soft reset is like a reboot. You'll see the Palm logo, etc, while the 650 boots.

Hi Mark. Thanks. I'm not getting the soft reboot - no Palm logo etc. I'll leave network time on for now and see how things go.
