I installed Noah and one of the smaller libraries to check it out. I Also use SmartDoc and TakeNote to edit various PDB documents. When I deleted Noah, all the pdb documents were deleted as well. Does anyone know about potential incompatiblities between Noah and SmartDoc or TakeNote?

are you sure you use smartdoc and takenote to edit pdb's.

i'm no expert, but i think those apps only deal with .doc formatted files. my understanding is that .pdb files are formatted to be read/edited only by their specific program, in this case noah. no noah, no noah pdb...

which is why when you delete a program it gives a message box saying 'delete "..." and all related files?'

can anyone back me up on this?

PDBs are how .doc files are stored. As long as they are generic .doc files, smartdoc can edit them. I have no idea why removing NOAH would remove your .doc files.
