I searched all the threads, but I haven't seen a program that allows you to get mail from hotmail. If anybody knows a way I would greatly appreciate the know how. thanks

Versamail will allow you to set up numerous accounts. You'll need to call MSN to find out their POP and SMTP address.

hotmail is not a pop service. The only way is to view it through blazer. MSN mobile. There is a program that will run on your desktop and forward hotmail to another account but I cant remember what its called. Sorry!!

You could set up Hotmail to forward to a POP or IMAP account and set it up that way.

your only option in the hotmail settings area is alerts. It will send an alert to you but you will still have to go on the web to see the full message.

I used fusemail to push my email from hotmail to my fusemail account. Fusemail has imap access and i could retrieve it on my treo using chatter. Then fusemail (free account) started putting ads as the header on my incoming messages, so I dropped it.

I've used Izymail http://www.izymail.com/ to retrieve Hotmail and YahooMail accounts for over a year on my Treo 600 now on the Treo 650 with no problems. I use the SnapperMail http://www.snappermail.com email client but VersaMail will work as well. Izymail does not interfere with the email client. Great service!

    Highly recommend.....

www.reqwireless.com. "E-mail viewer" works great with Hotmail and like many others allows HTML images, PDF viewing, Word attachments, etc...
This program does require Java on your 650. It also has an awesome spam filter for all accounts.

Try Aileron mail it is designed to help mobile users manage and balance their corporate and personal email management needs using one single handheld device, with bi-directional support for attachments. Aileron provides email management for individual users using Internet mail access protocols like POP3, IMAP4, with or without SSL, and also provides access to portal mailboxes like MSN/Hotmail, Yahoo, AOL and Gmail.

Looks like a nice product, but requires a yearly subscription fee.

a free fastmail account can grab hotmail mail every three hours. I think the paid account will do it every hour. I use that.

What's wrong with a subscription fee for a very professional product? Aileron looks like they covered a lot. Now I have to choose between them and Snappermail, LOL!
HP has officially ruined it's own platform and kicked webOS loyalists and early TouchPad adopters to the curb. You think after you drop it like a hot potato and mention it made no money and is costing you money, anyone else wants it??? Way to go HP!!

And some people are fools to keep believing their hype. HP has shown they will throw webOS under the bus and people are still having faith in them??? News flash: if it's own company won't stand behind it, it's finished!
