I've seen threads regarind "location based services" utilizing the T650's built-in GPRS. Does anyone know if street navigation software can be or has been written to utilize this technology (thereby saving on another device, i.e. BT GPS unit). I understand that GPRS uses cell towers to triangulate a location as opposed to using GPS satellites, but it seems that it could be accurate enough for street navigation.

GRPS is a GSM data service. You're thinking of the assisted GPS. On the Sprint network, it does in fact use GPS, but not fullblown GPS -- it uses one or two satellite locks and figures out the rest with triangulation. And nope, nothing takes advantage of it, except e911 in places that support it.
