I still own and intend on keeping my treo 600. with that being said i noticed on treocentral a review of the Scala bluetooth headset. I am curious if there is a way to get that to work on the t600 and if so is it worth it.

The Scala 500 is incredible with the Treo 600 and the Jabra A210 Bluetooth adapter. Sound quality is great, it is very light and comfortable. The headset doesn't ring in your ear with the 600, but no big deal! I fit an eargel from Jabra onto the Scala and after that I was good to go. Without the eargel, it's still great but the sound quality is even better with the eargel...

IronBlackLion: so can you answer on the headset, mute and redial with it? Also, how is the distance? I have read other places that the scala is limited to about 5-10 feet...after that it gets to scratchy with interference?

    Thanks.

Cardo also sells a non bluetooth phone version of the 500 with a 2.5 mm adapter. My friend uses it with his 600 and he loves it. He can answer and hang up calls and i will ask him about redial and mute.

I can only get 10 feet on my sc500. but being my first BT headset I'm happy to have it. Light, Loud, easy to get working and like I have said in other post. Its cheap enough that if I loose it or drop it in the john I am not out that much.

I can answer, hang up, and mute....haven't had much success with the redial...I may be doing it wrong, though......the sound quality and volume are terrific with the eargel, and I get good distance. I maintained a conversation while inside the gas station and I left my Treo in my SUV.

You would have to have a bt adapter...like the Jabra A210.

    IronBlackLion,
So it won't ring? I have this combo and am still experimenting. The Scala rings with my BT phone, but not the Treo 600.

    Tks,
