People seem to know a lot on this thread.
I can access with my treo 650 my Yahoo calendar on the road.
Is it possible to sync on the road the yahoo calendar to the calendar of my treo 650?
Is there any program available to buy now to do that?
Does goodlink do that and how much does it cost?

Goodlink will not sync your yahoo information.

When you are in the Good calendar and you move forward 2 days and edit an appointment, coming out of it you end up back at today's screen.

I hope the title isn't as confusing as it seems...I searched and couldn't find anything ...

I just installed Good 4.0.3.6, so far so good...however there is one option that I would like to change but can not find the option. when viewing calendar/contacts, ect the "bar" or "navigator" that you select with is dark blue and its difficult to see the highlighted item under it.

Is there a way to change this option?.

I posted the message below to the general forum but the fact that I'm running Goodlink is (I think) the biggest complicating factor. Was hoping that perhaps you could help out. Thanks.

    >>>>>>>>>>
I have a somewhat complicated issue. I recently replaced my Treo 600 with a new one because of the phone buzzing noise. Now I want to migrate everything on my old one to the new one. A few issues:

    1) The two 600s have different hot sync user names.
    a) Is there anyway to do a recovery restore via a hot sync without changing the user names?
    b) If not, is there any way to change the user names without completely wiping everything on the new Treo?

    2) Both Treos are set up with Goodlink through my company (though one has version 4.0 and the other has 3.7). I don't need to recover the Goodlink info (e-mail, calendar, contacts, etc), just my SMS messages, my call log and some third-party programs.
    a) Can I just recover the SMS messages and the call logs without having to do a complete restore? If so, I can beam the other programs, re-register them and call it a day.
    b) Will the complete restore necessarily wipe my Goodlink set-up? Anyway to skip moving over anything associated with Goodlink?

    3) I'm syncing the Treos with 2 computers: my desktop at work and my laptop at home. All the Goodlink info is sync'd with my work computer and I'm trying to sync everything else with my personal laptop. Is Palm desktop the best way to sync at home? Do I need Palm desktop, Pocketmirror, or anything else even, or is the HotSync Manager all I need?

    4) Lastly, I have an SD card in the Treo. Is there anyway to do the back-up with just a regular SD card or do I have to use a PC?

Thanks for any help you can give on any part of this issue.

No, this is not a customizable option.

    Hi GoodGuy:

I posted this last week, maybe it was missed :

We have a license for a dedicated server (9 users) and are moving our server enviornment to Microsoft Server 2003 SBS Premium. How does the licensing work? Are we charged a different fee, or does the licensing transfer over?
  13.    #793
    Sorry...missed your post.

There is no upgrade/downgrade path from SBS. SBS licensing is handled through our VAR channel.

    Is there a pricing difference?
  15.    #795
List price is the same for SBS as direct from Good

My T-Mobile SIM card just went bad so I had to replace it. My Goodline isn't responding. Is there something my IT department has to do on the server side?

I think this question has been answered before... but the threads on GL are so long and difficult to search that I've given up trying to find the answer I remember seeing about at least part of this question. There's a manager here who's a new GL user and wants to accomplish something I don't think he can...

This person is a serious user of folders and wants *all* his messages to be visible, if not actually downloaded, onto his device. His inbox, for example, has over 500 unread messages... and not even all of those downloaded to his device (I recall a maximum number of time limit for the initial download, but don't recall what it was). He reported that it only pulled the last 100 and is gathering new messages since then... but he really wants to get the older messages pulled so that he can use the device to catch up on his mail.

The closest I remembered to this was adding additional folders that could be watched for new messages -- and he'd basically want *all* of his folders watched -- but I think that falls short of what he wants. I don't recall there being a way to control how many days it would pull initially or retain as time goes on. If there is, please let me know and I'll pass that info along.

The one thing I could hear him say over and over was "Jeez! Blackberry does that...." He's replacing a dead blackberry with a Treo 650 and GL. :-)

Your GL admin needs to repush (reprovision) you.

Search this thread for the fetch command to populate all the folders.
