Even if you have unlimited PCS to PCS on sprint, if you call forward from T650 to your other sprint phone or vice versa you will be charged $0.10 per minute.

LOL. At first I thought this was gonna be my GSM alternative. Damn you, sprint.

Very true. on our family plan t-mobile gives us 1,000 forwarding, and I use a good chunk of it as I have it forwarding to my work phone during the day. Every once in a while I'll be completely out of normal minutes, and I'll forward my phones 'no answer' to whomever I want to call, and then call myself.
Ever wonder if those FreeIPOD / FreeMiniMac scam sites work? Well, I found out Have a look at the results:

not too sure whether this is entirely true, but you might want to watch out for it, before getting burned man...read this thread about forwarding policies changes

Definitly ONE thing I miss about Verizon: "No answer, call forward." It was great... if I did not answer my cell phone then it would forward... pretty much kept it forwarded that way teh entire time I was a customer... Asked Sprint about it... All I got was "why would anyone want that." Oh, well.

Okay, I hate you guys. LOL

But what's all that about 500 mnutes buckets (Hofo thread)?

I'm not interested in TMobile. Does Cingular have free call forwarding?

This probably doesn't apply if this is using a 3rd party app though, right? Take...CradleCare, for example?

huh? Speak to me. How does a 3rd party app forward call? Does it bypass Sprint?????

Nope my program does not bypass the call charges. Sorry..... I wish it could! In fact I have called Sprint twice a month now for about a year asking for a forwarding package. Have gotten no traction.

Hope this helps. I also hope that CradleCare works well for those times that you want your phone forwarded.

Free to forward, just clicks off regular minutes.

Does the $0.10 per minute charge start when the call is actually forwarded or when you pick up the call on the secondary line? For those rare instances when I have to have my calls forwarded I would like to be able to answer those calls I deem important and ignore those that can be put off until later (rather than paying $0.10/min plus long distance).

I assume it is for calls that you pick up, not jus those that ring and you ignore.

I would check with cs to confirm. When I did it, I told the people that called me to hang up so I could call them back. This way I was only charged for the first minute.

OK I worked for Sprint for 4.5 years. I call forward 40% of the time. I heard an unlimited plan would be available. Called....rep, he tells me that it's free in the first place. I tell ya, I don't know who they hire over there. It's .10 a min during a call. No charge for forwarding, but charge for using....Sprint must get a forward plan.
