If you have the base (free) yahoo acct, then you only option is Chatter + fastmail or fusemail. Otherwise, Yahoo doesn't allow access...

there's a lot of little things that need to be done. you first need to make sure that you have the mx server information set up in your dns records, or of the records of the dynamip ip service your using. Then you need to make sure that you have the port forwarding for imap (which is different from smtp) set up in your home router so that messages are routed properly.

OK, I set up a fusemail account and everything seems to work pretty good, but one question...When I delete the mail in Chatter, shouldn't it delete it on the fusemail? Like I said, IMAP is pretty new to me....

bigboy - If "sync messages" is checked in the "Delivery" options, then yes, deletions will migrate back to the server. If you're having any issue, you might check out the ChatterEmail forum here at TC, or send me mail at chatteremail@imap.cc.

I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this before but are you using the sprint smtp to send your outgoing mail? If you are, you may want to consider switching to a non-sprint smtp as sprint's is notoriously unreliable.

NO headaches.. i would go with snapper or chatter.. Versamail..too too many crashes.

Snapper if you need to get notified soon. if not go with snapper. but first try them both out and see which one you like

I know I would need to use fusemail with Chatter to access Pop3, but I'm not so sure about Snapper.

If you get GMAIL you get pop without paying for it. If you want it let me know and maybe i will be in a good mood and invite you. feysul@gmail.com

Gmail is free POP and it works with versagarbage and snapper. Dont get versa get snapper if you want to check pop. Versa has bugs.

I use chatter with fastmail. It rocks. Chatter has the best customer support i have ever seen.

You can set up a fastmail account for free. Then push your pop3 to the fastmail account. It is incredible. You will get the emails within seconds.

you don't need push email!! i'll say it for a thousand times: use snappermail with treohelper. it's just as good as push! set your email acount to sms alert you of new emails. treohelper will read the sms & launch snappermail to fetch the email. it then deletes the sms without you ever knowing you got it!! do it people

How many free TM's do you get a month? I'm thinking a lot of email notifications would run through them fast, no?
