    Subject line says it. I'd rather not have to upgrade to XP or whatever. The PalmOne site says Windows2000 or later, but I wonder whether anyone is successfully synching the Treo650 under Windows 98.

    Win 98 doesn't support USB. Win 98 SE (Second Edition) is where USB support started.

    Thanks, I thought I'd run a search but guess I didn't do it right.

    Guess it's worth trying -- in my case, though, I'll be upgrading from a Zire 31, which might be somewhat problematic compared to a Treo 600. Also, I've already had some funkiness using a Canon camera -- but it seems silly to shell out 100 bucks for an OS I only use 10% of the time.

    just to update -- installed under W98 and everything worked just fine (except Docs to Go, and posting about this under a different thread).
