    Does anyone know of a way to initiate a HotSync from the PC? I don't like having to take the Treo out of my pocket to do a bluetooth HotSync.

    I have bluetooth all paired and running, and this is how I synced my sony t610...

    All hotsyncs must be initiated on the handheld. There's a few utilities that can semi-automate it, but not from the desktop side AFAIKAFAIKAFAIK.

    There should be a way to do this, but it's funky at best. Using I think, Treo Helper (or some app that acts on SMS messages) Basically, send oneself an SMS that triggers running a program, in this case, Hotsync. The problem is getting Hotsync to actually run, as opposed to just loading. Also, T650s have MS active sync software, and can sync to MS Exchange, so there might be a way to use this for automated syncs. Once I have my T650, I'll look into that.
    Palm III -> Palm V -> Blue Palm Vx w/Omnisky -> Treo 270 -> Treo 600 -> Treo 650 -> Treo 680

    The activesync on the 650 is limited to over the air and requires an exchange server. You still use the palm stuff to sync desktop wise
