I just found a new prog at palmgear.com that allows you to establish a ppp connection via USB and your PC.
So for all the guys out there that are like me still waiting for the serial cable to show up, this might be worth a try...
I haven't tested it though... probably over the weekend...
It's called LinkUSB and you can get it here:

    Have fun,

Is this for Win98? I'm confused by the Linux reference.

    Hmmm... you're right, VoxDei!

It seems that the program only works with linux...
Darn! I currently do not have Linux on my Laptop, which is my only PC w/ USB. So I cannot try it out.
If anybody out there has Linux running and tried the program, some comments would be appreciated... once I buy a bigger HD for my Laptop, I will run both Windoze98 and Linux...

Sorry about any confusion I may have caused, but I was just too happy about the new program...

FWIW, it should work with Win98 or Mac as well. You just have to compile it and find a suitable ppp daemon. I, however, haven't tried it with Linux, let alone Win98 or Mac.
