From Krusell's website it looks like the Horizontic S-Wide is their best fit for the 650, but it isn't a custom-made case for the phone. Does anyone have any experience with this case and can post a picture of the 650 in it? I had the Leather International case for the 300 which was great except for the brick look (thanks to the phone) and had too many issues with non-horizontal cases for the 600, so I'm looking to go back with my 650 (unfortunately nothing from Leather Intl about 650 cases).

I think the covertec looks nice, but leaves corners exposed and I want a case that provices protection from things like doorways, railings...etc since it's worn on the belt.

    -Thanks

This thread has a discussion on the vertical version of that case. It can be worn vertically or horizontally. http://discussion.treocentral.com/sh...ad.php?t=69752

I prefer the cases that have the wide opening and are made for horizontal use specifically. This case looks nice though, but the horizontic version looks better to me.

I would think that the overall quality and fit for the horizontal and the vertical models would be similar. I am currently using the Covertec horizontal case and really like it, but I am considering the vertical Krusell as a second case.

This looks like a nice case. The different ways you can wear this case is way cool. Sometimes I don't wear a belt, and may clip my treo to my pocket. Is it a snap or magnetic closure?

I've been using the Horizontic S-Wide and the S650 skin case for a week or so and really like the combo. The Krusell case is well made, and stays very close to the body. It does take a few days for the case to stretch and fit the treo with the skin case though. Plus, the charge and headset cutouts no longer line up, but no big deal to me.

Love having the skin case. It has a better "feel" and I don't have to worry about scratching it up laying it around.

    Arsman,

    Thanks for the pics!

I like this case except for the opening at the bottom exposing the bottom of the phone. Is there a purpose for this opening?

Could this be worn on the left side?

The opening at the bottom is supposed to help get the phone out of the case. I does help if you are using a skin case also, but not really necessary if you are not.

You can wear it on the left side, BUT the treo only fits in one way. There is a small cutout on one side of the case for the antenna. You can do it though, and I do wear it that way sometimes.

The hands down best thing about the case is the multidapt system. It's great that I can just throw on a clip and wear it that way if need be, but then use the loops when I am going to keep the phone with me all day.

I also looked at the Verticalic case, but I knew there would be no way to use it with a skin case.

I agree Arsman, the multidap system is what attracted me to this case, as I may not wear a belt all of the time.
Did your purchase your case direct from Krussel?

    Thanks

No. Krusell doesn't sell direct. I actually got the case from executivepda.com. Treocentral doesn't carry it yet. I emailed Krusell a few times and they were very helpfull with suggestions and places I could order from. They will also give you a list of local retailers if you want.

Thanks for the suggestion! I hadn't heard of them before, but after seeing your posting I decided to order one from them. I was very pleased with how quickly they sent it to me.

Nice setup. I might have to try this when I fire-up my 650.

After hours of reading threads on cases here, I decided on the Krussel Horizontic case. I have been really pleased with it. I picked up a slim belt clip attachment (the swivel one is *not* thin). I liked the nutshel too but I really wanted a case that would not "bunch up" when I sat down. I am using it with egrips skin. It is a little snug but still works well.

Here is a short list of cases I complied during my research if any are interested.

How did you stretch the case to fit the Treo with the skin. My flip cover does not close?

    thanks

Patience. I just put it in the case every night with the skin case and close the case. It was very difficult for a week or so, then got easier and easier over time. It's not perfect, but a good compromise right now.

Im not sure of which skin you speak, with the egrips, its was not too bad. Just wiggled it in there to start. Just have to be careful not to hit the buttons. Then leave it in there at night. Leave it closed if possible. Now the other silicon wrap cases I am not so sure about.

I am using the carbon black S650 skin case (see the pictures). You are right, it is tight, but it can work. The egrips may be a better option.
