I'm looking for a weather application that does not require software to be installed on my PC. I want to be able to update weather info via 1xrtt wireless services. Possibily multi day forcasts. I did a search and it didn't show too much out there. Help anyone?

None of these are free but,

Weather Manager is good, ($12.95) and if you use Facer, has a Today screen plug-in.

Havent tried it, but 4cast is only $5, however you'll need to buy 2day to use it.

Also Agendus has a weather program on its Today screen (may only be on the Pro version though.)

Actually I think 4cast my operate independantly of 2day. That's the way it was when it was first released anyway. This may have changed.

This program is in beta and currently is free. (Nice program, BTW.)

    I'm downloading as we speak!

Dutch, regarding 4cast, you may be right. I haven't used it so it may be possible to run it as a stand-alone product.

dutchtrumpet is correct. 4cast works very well as a standalone app, but has a plugin for 2day so you can see the weather for the day along side your agenda.

It's not free, but it's about as close as you can get. Very reasonable price for a great app.

You're welcome. (Actually I have to reinstall it. I lost it after having to resort to a backup when having problems with AgendusMail. Agendus is a great product but their email has always seemed to suck ever since it first came out.) Another interesting alarm clock is Bob's Alarm, but it doesn't have the weather feature. Well, off to re-download TreoAlarm too ...

AgendusMail is the root of all evil. I've done away with it as well.

    I use Cool Weather http://www.hiddentreasurehosting.com/weather/

It was mentioned above but I must tell you it's fast and displays useful info.

    Give it a go.

Thank You Everyone!! I think I'm gonna use hiddentreasurehosting.com/weather or 4Cast....from what I've heard, it's decent. I don't mind spending the money for it, but when I initially thought I had to purchase 2day, I wasn't thrilled. Thank you everyone!!

The nice thing about 4cast (as opposed to hiddentreasurehosting.com/weather or other web based forecasts) is that it's available for off-line viewing. Granted, the data may be a little stale depending on the last time you updated, but forcasts, barometer, sun rise/set, etc. is there without requiring another connection.

Important for me as I'm operating without a data plan.

Another vote for 4cast. It's cheap, and works fast. On Blazer, the accuweather link provided above also works well.

Same here! Thanx again to bclancy for posting the link. I love the full screen weather info. And I haven't even tried the alarm feature yet.
