    It looks awesome, checkmate.

BTW, do you use the sprint version (##) or GSM version (#*)? And you also change the dial pad color, too?

I attached here 1 pair which I found in my treo 650 Cingular. I don't know which one is the one you need, then, all of them are here.

BTW, is there anyway that you can also include the way to change the Dial pad in your "one shop stop" tool?
I would like a cingular version of the 1 stop as well, if anyone has a few minutes to create it. I put the sprint version on my phone and now have the crosshairs with a red slash through them, a different dialpad, and have to use the ## codes instead of #*. Not a huge deal, but it would be nice to have the cingular +options.

    thanks.

Just saw this thread, downloaded the program and after about 5 minutes with photoshop, came up with this:

If anyone wants it, the prc is attached to this message.

The different is you have to enter ## instead of #*, for example, ##377 to get the error report if you install the CDMA version compares to #*377 for GSM. That's it.

Will this (the original posted steps and tools) work on a GSM unlock? Or is this for specific phone only?

    Thanks

attached is a version of the overlay maker batch program using a GSM phone src file. All options are enabled except the crosshairs, and it uses the original (tape real) 1 button.

    enjoy.

I wanted to check to see whether it's okay to install the old version of Phone overlay onto my recently upgraded Cingular Treo 650 with 1.17 firmware. I only installed it last night, but things in general seemed to be running faster and I ended up with a bit more memory.

However, there is one thing that I miss a lot, it is the call duration / timer. The new firmware removed the information again! Ugh...

Has anyone tried to put the old overlay on without crashing?? Someone in the 1.17 firmware thread mentioned that the old phone overlay will conflict with new firmware. The whole point of me upgrading to firmware 1.17 is so it crashes less. So if there are any brave souls who have tried it, please let us know.

In addition, if there are anyone who's good at modding, please feel free to come up with an updated overlay for this new version of firmware..

Nevermind the above post. Thanks to Onnow, we already have a patched version of the phone overlay w/call duration features turned on.

Please see the following link for the file.

The app works cool. If I want to go back to the original (nothing), do I just delete the PhoneApp_SPCS_Custom.prc file?

    Thanks,
