Is there a way to keep only my PIM (contacts, dates, etc...) and get rid of all the other stuff I don't need. I looked in the delete section and there's a lot of stuff there that I don't know what it does.

Basically, I want to start from scratch and then load on the apps I need.

Also, is moving apps to the SD card (by copying and then deleting from Palm) the correct way? Or am I supposed to use some piece of software?

    Thanks for any help,

Backup the pim stuff from PalmDesktop. Hard Reset. Delete everything from your computer. Restore Pim Stuff. Resynch. I have done this once or twice

You can't delete any of the apps located in ROM, so the default out-of-the-box apps (i.e. everything that survives a hard reset) are there forever.

It is easier to do a backup to your SD card using a backup program like BackupMan, then doing a hard reset and restoring just those files you want.
