I have been trying to upgrade my 600 to a 650 and the first thing I did was sync the 600 to outlook. After I was done with that I removed all the 600 software and installed the 650 and now when I try to sync I am getting the following errors. Below I have outlined what I have tried....please help

    1) Installed the palm one update for the outlook condiut -- Didn't help

    2) Searched treocentral for other problem having the problem -- Didn't find a solution

    3) Uninstall the treo 650 software (including removing Program Files/palmone dir and going into the registry and removing all references to palm -- after I was done I reinstalled everything -- didn't help

    4) Tried to remove all my old 600 stuff (maybe I missed something here)

This a little background here, I am using Outlook XP and I am just using it for contacts and calendar. I am not using it for email right now or any exchange connection. Everything is managed offline...

Are you supposed to have outlook open or closed when you sync?

Please if someone can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

I had the same problem. I tried everything what finally worked was doing a outlook folder reset from the run menu. There is a thread in here that tells you how to do it. I think it was like outlook.exe/ resetfolders but i am not positive.

I rad start->run outlook.exe /resetfolders -- no luck. I had tried that before also and it didn't work.

Look for "command-line switches" in Outlook's help file for a complete list. The /resetfolders command "restores missing folders for the default delivery location".

The 0B-0004 error inidactes there is an issue with acquiring the OLE object for the Outlook application. This problem usually relates to a bad installation or some other problem in the Outlook app. Did you just install Outlook? Do you have the disk to re-install?

I tried every fix listed here, at MTDN, P1 Support (that's a joke) and anything else I could think of and ended up taking P1's advise and switched to PocketMirror Pro XT by Chapura. It may have cost me $50, but I can't wait for P1 to get there act together -- I'd die of old age before that happened.

    PocketMirror Pro XT worked.
