    I did something that should have been obvious to me, but
    hadn't occurred to me. I got a voicemail from a friend, put
    it on speaker, and ran the voice recorder function to save
    the message as a ringertone. I suppose folks have already
    thought of this, but it should be possible to have a known
    caller's ringtone be their own voice. Or better yet, what
    you think they SHOULD sound like... :-)

    Umm, what voice recorder function? The 650 doesn't have one unless I've missed something.

    Borrow the one from the Tungsten C.

    Or, use the one in the Sounds app. It can make new ringtones. But I do use the one from the Tungsten C, and I am having no problems with it other than the lack of 5-way support.

    You can do this also via using he Seidio 2-in-1 headset if you don't want to use the speakerphone fyi...
