I know the Treo 650 does not support HID bluetooth profile (the ability to use a bluetooth keyboard) but anyone get their hands on the Brando Bluetooth keyboard? It seems to support the Palm OS, I'm crossing my fingers it has drivers that would work on the Treo 650.
I just read about it at one of my favorite gadget sites here: http://www.the-gadgeteer.com/brando-...rd-review.html That it supports the Palm OS and my jaw dropped

If it doesn't plug into the 650's I/O port, it shouldn't work. Without the HID profile, the 650 just plain can't talk to other devices through the ether.

Brando's web site suggests support for the Palm Zire72, Tungsten T, Tungsten T2, Tungsten T3, and Tungsten T5. This suggest that it is at least highly likely it will work. The bluetooth keyboard driver up on Brando's web site also doesn't seem to crash the simulator (but it doesn't sense the bluetooth hardware in the simulator either).
The URL for the driver is here:

    Druce,

Thanks for testing it out on the simulator.

Lloyd Christmas: So you're telling me there's a chance? (reminds me of Dumb and Dumber)

I downloaded those drivers and read the compatible list pdf file, it states "Palm Smart Phone and PDA OS version 5.0" got excited, but read further down....Zire and Tungsten passed...so where is the Palm smart phone?

Anyone, let us know if you have one of these and it works for you.

    Oly
