This is kind of a double post -- I mentioned this in the 650 forum, and then saw this forum. Sorry.

Anyway, I just picked up a 1GB card from BestBuy for $80 w/ a $20 mail in rebate. Not sure how long the deal goes for, but it is a good one!

Thanks for the information. I just bought 256 cards for $49.99 each for SD and compact flash cards. I guess I will be making trips to BB and radio shack tonight. Any deals on compact flash cards?

Same deal at CompUSA, only theirs is $75 out the door with a $15 rebate. I like that better. : ) It's for the same SanDisk card, and for the record, it's pretty darned fast. Much better than my 512MB Kingston.

I bought the SD from Best Buy. The guy had to go in the back to look for them. I bought two. Compact Flash cards were also advertised for the same price but the store did not have any, including in the back. I returned my 256 cards to RS.

I cant deal with rebates... I was trying to wait til the 1GB cards were $60 without a rebate, but these are mighty close... All these 1GB sd cards are $70 or less WITHOUT having to deal with rebates!

SO this mean that this PQI card is as fast as the Sandisk Ultra II 1 GB that I can't find anywhere? If so, I'll just get this one!

Where does it say the speed on the PQI card? I have a 1gb PQI but no idea how fast it is.
Well, it isn't perfect and it makes me crazy, but I still do love my Treo!

on the front of the card it says HiSpeed 60. I ordered a 45x but he shipped a 60x instead, guess I lucked out. It looks just like the following link except it says 60 instead of 45
